Check your licence key

It's in your purchase email from Dodo Payments, and in your Dodo customer portal. It looks like 2b1f8e2d-c41e-….

One licence = one bot. Checking it links it to the bot you upgrade.

    Find your copy of the bot

    When you set up, Cloudflare made you your own copy of the bot's code on GitHub (usually called touchgrass, find it on github.com ↗). Type its name:

    Open the key file on GitHub

    GitHub opens in a new tab with a file called touchgrass.license, your key already inside. Don't change anything in it.

    Add key to my bot ↗

    Press Commit, twice

    1. On the GitHub tab, press the green Commit changes… button (top right).
    2. A box pops up. Press Commit changes again.

    That's it. Cloudflare rebuilds your bot by itself in 1–2 minutes.

    Open your bot's settings

    1. Open Workers & Pages ↗.
    2. Click your bot (usually touchgrass), then Settings.
    3. Scroll to Build and find its Variables and secrets (not the box with the same name higher up).

    Add the key as a secret

    Press Add, set the type to Secret, and paste:

    Value your licence key

    Then press Save.

    Rebuild your bot

    1. Open Deployments (top of your bot's page).
    2. On the latest build, open its ⋯ menu and press Retry build.

    It takes 1–2 minutes.

    Check it worked

    Paste your bot's address, like https://touchgrass.yourname.workers.dev.

    Can't find it? Open Workers & Pages ↗, click your bot (usually touchgrass) and look under Domains: copy the workers.dev one.

    Try these first
    1. Send a photo of your food. You get calories + macros to confirm. ✏️ fixes anything it got wrong.
    2. /targets sets your daily calories and protein.
    3. /scan a barcode or /snap a nutrition label.

    5. Open the mini app (the [▮‿▮] button): calories, macros and today's meals are unlocked.
    Good to know
    • Keep touchgrass.license in your GitHub copy (or the Cloudflare build secret). Every build checks it; delete it and the next build goes back to the open-source plan.

    • AI running costs: food photos use Workers AI on your Cloudflare account. Normal use fits the free daily allowance; past it, Cloudflare bills you, not us. More.
